1. Know Your Skin Type

To begin effective skin care, you must first know your skin type. There are basically four types: oily, dry, combination, and sensitive. The oily skin usually has lots of breakouts due to the increased oil produced by the skin, whereas the dry skin looks flaky and is tight in appearance. One might have both oily and dry parts to their skin; this person then has what is known as combination skin. The final one is the very reactive skin to some products that causes irritation. You must know your skin type so that you choose the right product according to your needs.

2. Also Give Hydration a Thought

Every body's hydration is the main key that will ensure healthy skin. Drinking enough water will keep moisture and aqueous conditions systemically, avoiding dryness and giving a very plump and youthful appearance. Do not forget moisturising externally with anything natural such as aloe vera, glycerin, or honey.

3. Some Natural Skin Care Ingredients

Nature has provided, in her stores, several ingredients considered performing for overall skin enhancement. Aloe vera, known for its soothing quality, is a wonder treatment for calming skin irritated by other conditions and sunburn. Coconut oil acts like a moisture-retaining oil. Thus, it will serve dry skin well. Tea tree oil, on the other hand, is from nature and has a great antiseptic property for mildly treating acne. Finally, rosewater is a well-known toner.

4. Cleanse and Scrub Often

The basis of any skincare regime is a cleanser. Use a sulfate-free rinse that would not strip your skin's natural oils. It helps to cleanse your skin twice a day to remove dirt and impurities for breathable skin. Exfoliation 1-2 times per week will aid in removing dead skin cells, thereby giving the skin an even brighter appearance. Natural exfoliants include sugar, coffee, and oatmeal, which are very gentle scrubs and do not irritate the skin.

5. Protect Against the Sun

Sun exposure is one of the major factors responsible for early senescence and damage to the skin. Therefore, you must always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher before going out. In conjunction with the sunscreen, it is wiser wearing protective clothes, using hats and sunglasses to cover yourself against UV rays.

6. Sleep and Stress Management

Sleep is essential for repair and regeneration of the skin. 7-9 hours' sleep every night will help your skin in its healing processes and regenerating itself. Management of stress is just as important since it can bring about skin problems such as acne and eczema. Stress can be-in the body-reduced through relaxation techniques like deep breathing or meditation.
