What started as a space race is now a global endeavor among various nations and private players seeking to unravel the secrets of the cosmos.

The Apollo 11 mission stands out in space exploration, for it was in 1969 that astronaut Neil Armstrong took the first steps of man on the moon-sudden glory of one hundred billion hearts. More than a technological feat, it represented the resolve of mankind to fulfill its dreams. The Apollo missions were followed by others that incrementalized on technologies set forth by the Apollo missions, with highlights including Mars rovers, Hubble Space Telescope, and International Space Station (ISS) assembly, aimed to serve as a laboratory for microgravity research.

Mars exploration indeed accounts as one of the most favorite subjects in today's space endeavors. Giving more prospect to manned exploration, robots conduct data collection on Mars via NASA's Perseverance and China's Tianwen-1 missions. Scientists are especially inclined to learning if Mars could have once sustained life-or perhaps, be a second home for humanity- against a backdrop of growing apprehension regarding Earth's habitability.

The hunt for exoplanets from the great abyss lies squarely within the parameter of space exploration. With Kepler and now JWST missions, life detection on exoplanets within their habitable zones is already beginning.

Now, private companies like SpaceX and Blue Origin are adding one layer of outer space exploration and commercialization of travel to moon and Mars. They also push not only innovations in space tech but also lower costs and wider access to space than we have seen thus far.

In a survey of space exploration, brilliant scientific pursuit of the time is an expression of human genius and exploratory instinct. The farther human endeavors further the exploration of space technology, the closer we come to answers to questions cradles of Man-was there any life beyond Earth? Can we inhabit on planets? What further id harbors the universe?
